Composite Panel Punch
A pneumatic, portable press that makes clean corner notches and mounting-hanger cuts in aluminium composite panels, fast.
Corner notching press
Cuts the V-notch needed to fold the panel corner in a single stroke.
Mounting-hanger cutting press
Cuts the slot for the mounting hanger at the panel edge.
How it works
Aluminium composite panels are used as cassettes in façade cladding. Before the edges of a cassette are folded, its corners must be notched to a set size and slots must be cut along the edges for the mounting hangers.
The Composite Panel Punch makes these cuts with a compressed-air press and special-steel dies. The panel is placed against a stop with a measuring scale, and the cut is finished in about 2 seconds. Because the die cuts to a fixed size, every part comes out the same.
Weighing about 4 kg, it is easy to carry and use on a workbench or on site.
Applications
